Roxanne E. Fleszar, has been in the financial services industry for over three decades. She received certification as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) through the College for Financial planning in Denver, Colorado in 1983. Roxanne obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of new York at Plattsburgh and certification as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) through the American College of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Roxanne, one of the founders of the Greater Boston Society of Certified Financial Planners, now known as the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts. She has served as President and Chairperson of the chapter.
Roxanne has developed an expertise in retirement planning; she has been quoted in numerous publications including Pensions & Investments, Plan Sponsor, the Journal of Financial Planning and Investor Business Daily. She has spoken on 401(k) plan retirement issues before the Investment Company institute, the premier gathering of the mutual fund industry in the U.S. Additionally, she has appeared on CNBC's "Power Lunch" and on Bloomberg's Financial television and radio stations. Roxanne can currently be seen regularly as the financial commentator on Channel WEYW, Channel 19, serving the Florida Keys.
Roxanne is married and divides her time between Salem, Massachusetts and Key West, Florida. In her free time she enjoys swimming, gardening, biking and walking her dog. She is a volunteer for the Old Island Restoration Foundation of Key West, the Key West Botanical Garden, and a member of the Key West Women's Club and the Zonta Club of Key West.
